I had the absolute pleasure of capturing these two lovebirds - Sarah and Josh. Not too long ago at my day gig, Sarah came up to me and asked me if I could photograph her wedding; we work together at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. I was so stoked! This woman walks the halls flashing her sunshine of a smile every single day, is always a bundle of happiness and takes amazing care of our Veterans. How could I turn her down?!
Once details emerged about THE day, my level of 'stokeness' continued its way on up:
Road trip to northern Michigan - check.
Outdoor wedding, on the beach - check.
Sand dune buggy ride to the ceremony - check.
Taco Bar - check.
Backyard games and bonfire for the celebration - check.
Sarah and Josh put so much detail into their day and their hard work paid off. Everyone had such a fun time and the weather could not have been more perfect.
I am beyond thankful and blessed to have been given the opportunity to capture these two wonderful souls uniting in such an unforgettable fashion.
